The purpose of the study was to identify the effect of academic stress factors, coping, social cultural adaptation and psychological well-being of Indonesian postgraduate students. The results of the purpose study showed that academic stress and coping were reported at a moderate level. Afterward, the findings of social cultural adaptation were found to be at a low level, however, lower scores indicated less difficulty but stronger social cultural adaptation of respondents. Further, psychological well-being of students was found at a high level. Finally, the results represented that academic stress, coping and social cultural adaptation have a significant effect on psychological well-being (PWB).
