Abstract

This study aims to determine the compatibility level of pedagogical reasoning practice model by highlighting the dimensions of understanding, transformation and teaching as exogenous variables in the practice assessment, reflection and understanding, while teaching is as endogenous variables. The survey method was implemented by distributing 119 questionnaire instruments to secondary school Physical Education teachers. The data ere analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings of the study reported that the Goodness of fit Chi square test with degree of freedom 92 is 171,860, CMIN / DF is 1.868 (< 5), Comparative Fit Index (CFI) is .959                                (> .90), Tucker Lewis Index (TLI) is .947 (> .90) and Goodness of Fit Index (GFI) are .851 (> .90). While Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA) is at a value of .86 (< .80). Thus, the measurement model has been able to report the existence of the compatibility of the model with the study data at a satisfactory level. The implications of this study indicate a significant practice effect between pedagogical reasoning and the teaching actions of Physical Education teachers.
