Abstract

Headmasters in Cluster Schools of Excellence (SKK) are the best examples of high-performing headmasters. Therefore, researchers have conducted case studies to explore pre -developmental experiences and subsequently produce models related to those experiences. Researchers have used semi-structured field interviews as well as document analysis. There were five participants consisting of SKK headmasters in Sarawak were involved. The findings of the study were analyzed using Atlas Ti software and implemented continuous analysis by identifying themes and creating categories. Findings show that pre-work experience is less helpful compared to work experience. The ability to act and reflect, perform transformations, understand the concepts of continuity and interaction, and the experience of integrating space and time became strengths to the participants. This concept is always alive and continuous throughout their service. Therefore, awareness of this concept is very important and should be disclosed to all teachers at various levels so that all the knowledge poured through various courses and experiences is not in vain.
