Abstract

This study aimed to examine the level of instructional supervision and teacher capacity. This study aims to identify influence of instructional supervision on teacher capacity. A total of 260 teachers from 11 secondary schools in the Southwest district, Penang was randomly selected as the study sample. This quantitative study uses a survey method. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Findings showed that instructional supervision, and teacher capacity are at a high level. The findings also found that instructional supervision have a significant influence on teachers' capacity. In conclusion, school administrators should ensure that instructional supervision is implemented effectively and at the same time develop the capacity of teachers.
