METODOLOGI AL-SAKHAWI DALAM PENULISAN KITAB AL-TUHFAT AL-LATIFAH FI TARIKH AL-MADINAH AL-SYARIFAH (The Methodology of al-Sakhawi in Al-Tuhfat Al-Latifah Fi Tarikh Al-Madinah Al-Syarifah)
Abstract
Artikel ini ditulis bagi menjelaskan metode yang digunakan oleh Muhammad bin ?Abd al-Rahman al-Sakhawi (831 ? 902 H / 1428 ? 1496 M) dalam penulisan kitabnya al-Tuhfat Al-Latifah Fi Tarikh Al-Madinah Al-Syarifah. Metode penulisan yang akan dibincangkan dalam artikel ini melibatkan tujuan penulisan, kaedah penyusunan, sumber, penelitian riwayat dan pentarikhan yang digunakan oleh al-Sakhawi dalam kitab al-Tuhfat.
