Abstract

Teaching Professionalism Practices in teacher education training refers to following aspects: School-Based Experience, Teaching Practices and Internship. Student teachers’ abilities to master and apply the professional practices are the key element in developing current teacher training curriculum. Thus, this study aims to identify the level of students teachers’ competencies in doing their practicum that based on the training curriculum of the Institute of Teacher Education Malaysia. Data from supervision documents that were owned by 274 students of Program Ijazah Sarjana Muda Perguruan were collected and analyzed using document analysis The findings showed that student teachers’ planning, implementation, reflection and attitude, and personality that have been listed on the evaluation form namely, PR2 and PR3, matched with the requirements of practicum practices by the Institute of Teacher Education, Malaysia.
