Peer Review

Full Confidentiality

All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Kepimpinan Pendidikan (JuPiDi) are treated with strict confidentiality throughout the editorial and peer review process. Each submission is initially assessed by the Editor-in-Chief or Managing Editor to determine its suitability, originality, relevance to the journal’s scope, and compliance with the submission guidelines.

Journal Commitment

JuPiDi is committed to ensuring that editorial and publication decisions are based solely on academic merit, scholarly contribution, originality, and research quality, regardless of the authors’ institutional affiliation, nationality, gender, seniority, or reputation.

Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts that meet the journal’s preliminary requirements will undergo a double-blind peer review process. The identities of authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the review process to ensure fairness, objectivity, and impartial evaluation.

Each manuscript will be evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s subject area. Reviewers are selected based on their academic qualifications, publication experience, and absence of conflicts of interest.

Reviewer Recommendations

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:

  • originality and significance of the study;
  • theoretical and methodological rigour;
  • clarity and quality of academic writing;
  • relevance to the field of educational leadership and management;
  • adequacy of references and scholarly contribution.

Authors may suggest potential reviewers during submission. However, the final selection of reviewers remains solely under the discretion of the Editorial Board.

Additional Review Process

In cases where reviewer recommendations substantially differ, the manuscript may be sent to an additional reviewer for further evaluation. The Editorial Board will make the final publication decision based on the reviewers’ reports and the scholarly quality of the manuscript.

Final Editing and Proofreading

Accepted manuscripts will undergo editorial review, copyediting, formatting, and proofreading before publication. Authors may be required to make final technical or language corrections to ensure publication quality and consistency.

Review Timeline

The review and publication process generally takes approximately 2 to 3 months, depending on reviewer availability, manuscript quality, and the timeliness of revisions submitted by authors.

Publication Notification

Authors will be officially informed of the editorial decision and publication status via email upon completion of the review and publication process.
