The Online Journal of Research in Islamic Studies (RIS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published twice a year by the Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. RIS covers a wide range of interdisciplinary topics in Islamic studies, including scientific research, technological advancements, historical and geographical studies, philosophical inquiries, legal perspectives, educational practices, environmental concerns, sociological studies, and ethical issues related to Islam.

The Volume 11 No. 2 of RIS was available online from 30 December 2024. This issue has been available online for 11 accepted papers. All articles in this issue were authored by 27 authors from 4 countries i.e.: Malaysia, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Pakitstan
