Abstract

The Islamic system has succeeded in the field of physical health protection that it imposed on human beings to make them happy with it. Preserving physical health is included within one of the five five daruriyyat, albeit in one of the aspects that Islam commanded us to preserve, namely religion, life, money, offspring, and reason. Hence, this research came to show that God Almighty has permitted us from good plants that do not cause harm to the human body, but rather benefit him. Islam is not satisfied with permitting good foods, rather it encourages and indicates certain types of them, and among these are what Ibn al-Qayyim Al-Jawziyya mentioned in his books. The study relied on the inductive and analytical approach. And we reached many results, the most important of which is that the protection and safety of the body is an important goal of one of the purposes of the Sharia for which it was revealed. And that the Sunnah of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, preceded modern medicine by legislating it in the protection of physical health, and that is from Through the conversations contained in foods and comparing them with modern scientific studies.
