Journal of Design and Built Environment (JDBE) is a SCOPUS-indexed and open-access publication by the Faculty of Built Environment, Universiti Malaya. JDBE publishes original papers resulting from research in architecture, building engineering, quantity surveys, real estate management and all disciplines related to the built environment.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL ISSUES

We would like to inform all contributors that the JDBE has temporarily closed the application for special issues for year 2026 and 2027 as it undergoes final quality assurance and editorial refinement to ensure it meets the highest scholarly standards. 

The call for special issue applications for next cycle will be annouced via our official website. In the meantime, we welcome high-quality research articles to be submitted as regular submissions through our standard peer-review process.
